Wilde Like Me by Louise Pentland
You'll never forget the day you meet Robin Wilde!
Robin Wilde is an awesome single mum. She's great at her job. Her best friend Lacey and bonkers Auntie Kath love her and little Lyla Blue to the moon and back. From the outside, everything looks just fine.
But behind the mask she carefully applies every day, things sometimes feel . . . grey. And lonely.
After 4 years (and 2 months and 24 days!) of single-mum-dom, it's time for Robin Wilde to Change. Her. Life!
A little courage, creativity and help from the wonderful women around her go a long way. And Robin is about to embark on quite an adventure . . .

Wilde Like Me quickly wriggled its way up to the pile of my favourite books of this year! I so much enjoyed spending time with Robin and her little family as she navigated her way through ( very tough) playground politics and some very tricky dilemmas of single mother out to find her place in the fierce dating pool.
Louise Pentland created one of the most heartwarming, realistic and humour book with a set of fabulous and sparkly characters ( I loved reading the scenes with Robin's friends and family)! The descriptions and characterisations were so vivid and humorous, and so relatable that I felt like part of the gang. Louise managed to deal with some sensitive issues in a caring way. A box of tissues was very handy during my reading sessions.
It was very hard for me to tear away from this book. Robin Wilde is one character that I will remember and (hopefully return to) for a very long time. Her way to self-discovery and self-appreciation was fantastic, and I loved watching her grow into a person that felt happy and satisfied with life again.
I can't wait to read more books by Louise Pentland. Make sure you put this stunning book on the top of your TBR.
