Callie’s exquisite, glittering silk gown has been shortlisted for the celebrity wedding of the year. But just as all her dreams are coming true, disaster strikes!
Leaving behind the bright lights of London, Callie is forced to return home to sleepy Althorpe. And there’s one man she hopes to avoid – the childhood sweetheart who turned her life upside down. But now she’s back, is it finally time to stop running?
Yet, as Callie faces her past, a Cinderella-like hunt begins for that perfect, pearl-embroidered dress, mysteriously submitted without a name…
My honest thoughts on this book:
If The Dress Fits the second book by Daisy James I've read and oh boy what a fabulous story! Daisy has such a mesmerising way with words that managed to pull me inside her stories and keep me so entertained and happy right to the end. I so loved the main character in this story; Callie is such a vigorous and dynamic leading lady, who battled through some tragic circumstances in her young life but luckily Callie has a group of fantastic friends who are only happy to support her through tough times.
I adored every single character in this story! But I was so taken with the chemistry and deep love between Callie and Theo Drake, the famous musician who is so level-headed, warm and charismatic.
Daisy James wrote a wonderful story of love, deep connections not just to the other person but also the place Callie and Theo hold dear in their hearts.
A huge thank you to Carina UK for accepting my request to review this book in exchange for a fair review. Thank you for letting me be a part of this fab tour.
